Our Story
Coin Hopper Arcade was started by Sammy Kincaid in 1980 in Sunrise mall in Massapequa. Although Hopper held a lengthier business than most in its popularity, the industry as a whole had fallen apart after home entertainment consoles increased in game quality as well as popularity amongst families. This caused that new industry to explode everywhere, greatly hurting the arcade business in the late 90s and practically snuffing it out. Coin Hopper Arcade has been biding its time, planning and waiting for the right time and opportunity to make a big comeback. Now is that time with the rise in interest in retro gaming and youth wanting to experience the fun past-time of years ago as well as the availability of a great location. Coin Hopper Arcade never really had a large franchise, but are looking to grow one and need your help in developing the look and feel with their new flagship location with over 250 games and 7 rooms and a classic arcade themed bar and grill as well as their Collectors Shop with comics cards and Coin Hopper Arcade themed merchandise. They are interested in keeping a somewhat retro feel with a more modern twist.
